Workouts

Current members of the Sacramento Triathlon Club may organize their own workouts and display them here for others to join.

STC hosts a variety of workouts for current members at locations throughout the Sacramento area. Each of our board members is active in the sport and leads regular swim/bike/run workouts. Our sponsors, affiliate coaches, and fellow members also host workouts, which are offered for free or at a discounted rate to STC members. Please check our workout calendar for details and updates.

In addition to the group workouts listed below, workouts are also organized and posted by members on STC’s Yahoo! Group. If the calendar workouts do not fit your schedule or training plan, check our Yahoo! Group. Many members use this popular feature to find training partners and organize workouts geared toward a specific race or location, including the popular Tuesday Night McKinley Park bricks, Auburn workouts and Vineman training rides. If you haven’t joined our Yahoo! Group, now is the time to sign up for our Yahoo! Group.

Whether you are new to the sport or a seasoned veteran, STC has a workout for you!

Important Notes:

  • Sacramento Triathlon Club workouts are available to current members only.
  • All attending must be physically up to the task of any STC workout they choose to participate in. If unsure about the difficulty level, be sure to confirm with the workout leader.
  • A helmet is required for bike workouts.
  • Before joining an open water swim workout, members should be able to comfortably swim 500 yards without stopping in a pool. Wetsuits are recommended for cold-water swims.
  • Most workouts require an RSVP to the workout leader.
